Our Must Try Vodka Cocktails

The next couple of months is what we call party season! If you haven’t noticed or its no surprise to you that each month ends with a BAR, pan intended! At Couture Africa we love seasonal cocktails. Starting us off this holiday season are some simple easy to make vodka cocktails. Hosting a cocktail party and out to impress? We have 5 vodka cocktails from a classic Moscow mule to a Screw driver that can be mixed in 2 minutes or less. Cheers!

Shake 50ml vodka, 50ml cloudy apple juice, 1 tsp lemon juice and 1 tsp maple syrup in an ice-filled shaker until the outside of the shaker feels very cold. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a slice of apple.

Moscow Mule

Pour 50ml vodka into a metal mug, julep tin or tumbler. Load up ¾ full with crushed ice then fill to the top with ginger beer, stir gently to combine. Add a few dashes of ginger bitters, a slice of lime and a sprig of mint to serve.

Squeeze the juice from 1 large or 2 small oranges and 1 clementine and set aside. Put a handful of ice cubes into a tall glass and pour over 50ml vodka followed by the fruit juices. Stir gently to combine then add a few dashes of Angostura bitters and a wedge of orange to garnish.

Pour 50ml mandarin vodka into a shaker with 1 tbsp orange liqueur, 1 tbsp lime juice and 50ml cranberry juice. Fill up the shaker with ice then shake hard. Strain in to a martini glass and garnish with a slice of orange zest.
