The South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) also referred to as the Golden Horns is an annual South African awards ceremony hosted by the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF), to honour creative excellence in the local film and television industry as assessed by the volunteer judges. The awards, first presented in 2006 are overseen by a committee governed by the NFVF.
This year’s edition was held on the 3rd of September and was presented with the theme ‘Frame the Future’.
It is always glitz and glamour when celebrities get a chance to show off their fantastic fashion sense and SAFTA’s Red Carpet did not disappoint!
