COCOLILI at New York Fashion Week

In December 2022, COCOLILI introduced sustainable swimwear and opened a flagship store, The COCLILI Swim Shop in Village Market, Nairobi. COLOLILI’s bikinis and one-piece swimsuits are made from high performance recycled fabrics resistant to chlorine, suntan creams and oils. The fabrics are recycled from pre and postconsumer materials making the swimwear long lasting.

They recently showcased their Heritage Collection at New York Fashion Week Spring 2023 on February 12^th 2023, organised by Flying Solo NYC, a fashion retailer and showcase for independent fashion designers from across the continent. COCLOLILI swimwear shall also soon be available on the Flying Solo Webstore for global purchases, and hopefully their two flagship stores in New York.

Here are the amazing looks from the COCOLILI collection, accessorised by Privado Eyewear, Tirisi Jewelry and Tina Carideo shoes. The Heritage collection prints were inspired Africa drawing from Zulu Baskets of South Africa, Ghana’s Kente Print and of course, COCOLILI’s trademark Papaya Print.
